Cookie policy

Use of cookies and similar technologies on PeptideAtlas.

Current use

PeptideAtlas sets no first-party analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies and does not use localStorage for tracking. Umami Cloud (EU) is enabled for aggregate measurement without cookies or advertising profiles.

Technical delivery

Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technologies for security, abuse prevention and page delivery. PeptideAtlas does not use them to build advertising profiles.

External websites

After opening an external link, that website may set its own cookies under its own policy and consent mechanism.

Future changes

If we add advertising pixels or other non-essential technologies beyond the described Umami analytics and aggregate redirect counter, we will first update this policy and request consent where legally required.

Aggregate measurement of commercial links

When an affiliate link opens, Cloudflare redirects to the approved partner URL and increments a daily counter. We store only the date, partner, offer, link placement, language and a broad source category. We do not store IP addresses, visitor identifiers, full referring URLs or search queries. This measurement uses no cookies or localStorage. Aggregate counters are retained for period comparisons until deleted by the operator. The hosting provider separately processes technical data under its own policies.

Umami Analytics

We use Umami Cloud (EU) to measure visits, campaigns and partner clicks without cookies. Measurements include page address, referring source, limited UTM parameters, browser language and screen dimensions. We do not send names, emails, personal identifiers or referring search queries. Session replay is not enabled. Umami privacy policy.
