Privacy policy

What data PeptideAtlas processes and how to contact us.

Controller and contact

For this version of the site, the controller is the PeptideAtlas publishing project. Send privacy questions and requests to office@peptideatlas.eu.

Data when you visit

We provide no registration, contact form or advertising pixels. We use Umami Cloud (EU) for aggregate measurement of visits, campaigns and partner clicks without cookies; Cloudflare also delivers and protects the site and may process technical data under its own terms.

When you email us

If you send an email, we process the address, content and technical headers to reply and retain necessary correspondence. The basis is taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in managing and protecting correspondence. We do not use this data for a newsletter without separate consent.

Recipients and retention

Email is provided by Namecheap Private Email and the site is provided by Cloudflare. We retain correspondence only while needed for its purpose, security or an applicable legal obligation.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or object where applicable. You may complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection or another competent EU supervisory authority.

External links

When you open a partner or source website, its policy applies. The link itself contains no personal data entered by you; the external website may process ordinary technical data after your visit.

Aggregate measurement of commercial links

When an affiliate link opens, Cloudflare redirects to the approved partner URL and increments a daily counter. We store only the date, partner, offer, link placement, language and a broad source category. We do not store IP addresses, visitor identifiers, full referring URLs or search queries. This measurement uses no cookies or localStorage. Aggregate counters are retained for period comparisons until deleted by the operator. The hosting provider separately processes technical data under its own policies.

Umami Analytics

We use Umami Cloud (EU) to measure visits, campaigns and partner clicks without cookies. Measurements include page address, referring source, limited UTM parameters, browser language and screen dimensions. We do not send names, emails, personal identifiers or referring search queries.
